Job Description:
We are seeking an entry-level Flux-Core Welder to join our team in Keithville, LA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are new to welding or have limited experience, as we provide on-the-job training. The ideal candidate will assist in welding metal components using flux-core welding processes and ensure high-quality, durable welds.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform flux-core welding on steel and other materials as required.
Follow blueprints, schematics, or work orders to complete welding tasks accurately.
Ensure welds are clean, strong, and meet industry standards.
Operate and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform basic inspections on finished welds to ensure the integrity and quality of the work.
Collaborate with senior welders and production staff to meet daily production goals.
Assist with the preparation of materials and parts before welding, such as cleaning, grinding, or fitting.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
Participate in training and development programs to improve welding skills.
Qualifications:
Entry-level position; previous experience in welding is a plus, but not required.
Basic understanding of flux-core welding processes and equipment.
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and lift heavy materials when needed.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
Must be reliable and punctual.
Ability to pass a welding skills test (if applicable).

Full-time position with a day shift schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
