What you’ll do In this role on AlixPartners’ Corporate Services IT-Enterprise Application Services (EAS), you will be responsible for assisting in maintaining the health of the SharePoint Online environment, site collections, and building and maintaining sites. You will demonstrate a clear understanding of designing solutions to meet customer demands and be willing to take ownership of problems and work with team members to deliver solutions in SharePoint that meet customer needs. You may be required to evaluate and integrate third-party software in designing solutions. The Corporate Applications SharePoint Developer is a full-time position reporting to the Enterprise Application team management located in Southfield, MI, Silicon Valley, CA, or Dallas, TX. Paid relocation is not available. Contract assignment is anticipated to run through December 2025. Assist in developing SharePoint Solutions/Apps in SharePoint Online. Analyze customer needs, document requirements, and assist in designing SharePoint technical solutions/apps. Develop custom forms and workflows using Nintex Cloud and/or Power Platform applications (Power Apps/Power Automate). Write custom web parts/apps, event handlers, features, site definitions, and package solutions. Assist in designing and building applications that interface with other enterprise applications. Identify, document, facilitate, and maintain industry best practices based on company policy from a developer’s perspective. Create, maintain, support, and monitor security permissions and schemas for SharePoint. Additional responsibilities as identified. What you’ll need Bachelor's degree in a related technical area or equivalent hands-on experience preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of education. Preference is given to those who have continued to upgrade their skills through education and training. Minimum three (3) years of experience; professional. Experience in Microsoft 365/SharePoint Online and Flow/Power Automate and the Power Platform Tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team and under time constraints. Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of customers. Ability to explain technical concepts and information in non-technical terms to non-IT areas within AlixPartners. Ability to engage with vendor or third-party solution providers. Preferred Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and/or Nintex Cloud. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Core working hours are generally 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday; willingness to work outside of normal U.S. business hours, and as unique projects/needs arise. Ability to work full time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.
