As a Roustabout in the Oil and Gas industry, you will play a crucial role in supporting drilling and production operations on offshore or onshore oil rigs. Roustabouts are the backbone of the industry, responsible for performing a wide range of manual labor tasks to ensure the smooth running of operations. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow within the industry.

Roustabouts, Oil, And Gas Responsibilities

• Conduct repairs and general maintenance on rig equipment, ensuring optimal performance and appearance.
• Assist in assembling and disassembling equipment, handling heavy loads, and ensuring tool availability during rig setup.
• Aid in operating rig deck machinery for safe and efficient equipment and supply movement.
• Participate in pipeline maintenance, conducting cleaning, painting, and inspections to prevent leaks.
• Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and actively participate in safety drills for a secure work environment.
• Assist in fire-fighting, spill containment, and evacuation procedures for personnel and environmental safety.
• Support inventory management of tools and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and initiating reorders.
• Work collaboratively with team members for streamlined operations and successful task completion.
• Comply with regulatory and industry standards, including environmental regulations, for legal and ethical practices.
• Actively participate in training programs for skill enhancement, including safety certifications and industry training.

Roustabouts, Oil, And Gas Required Skills

Must have Experience in the Oil Field Must have H2S, Safeland, EPC.

• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools, and operating machinery effectively and safely.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills for effective work in a diverse, challenging, and fast-paced environment.
• Identify and resolve basic mechanical and operational issues for smooth running of operations.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure compliance with safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
• Flexible to work in varying weather conditions, remote locations, and shifting schedules.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and follow instructions.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of oil and gas industry operations and equipment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to undergo required safety certifications and training.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment physical fitness assessment.
• Prior experience in a physically demanding or industrial environment is preferred but not essential.
