Handles customer service situations as they arise. Key Responsibilities : Adhere to location appearance guidelines. Act with a sense of urgency and professionalism. Ensure that the dining room is properly cleaned and set up prior to and after the service period; keep area clean and neat during service while meeting established sanitation standards. Promptly and warmly greet and direct guests to their tables based on availability or desired seating arrangements. Help create an overall enjoyable dining experience and promotes a safe, clean and neat environment for guests and other associates. Exhibit exceptional communications skills. Gets along well with others, demonstrate flexibility and patience; possess an interest in people. Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared. Demonstrate knowledge of emergency safety procedures and help evacuate guests to safety in the event of fire or other emergency. Assist with service, including bussing and food service, while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards. Perform post event product inventory and restock as needed. Operate a variety of equipment, including fire extinguishers, beverage machines, food merchandisers, production and storage equipment. Work in other departments to perform job duties during special events. Performs other duties as assigned. Essential Job Duties: Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations. Demonstrate physical stamina required to be mobile for long periods. Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds. Move from sitting to standing position easily and quickly. Requirements: 2 years’ experience in the service industry. Willingness to learn and grow. An outgoing personality is preferred. Ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing an exceptional experience. The ability to communicate effectively by writing, speaking and comprehending English. The ability to problem solve and make decisions with little guidance. Apply to Levy today!
