Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the end-to-end process of the resort's talent acquisition demands.
  • Proactively source, screen, and interview candidates for hourly and salaried positions across all departments.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to understand staffing needs and ensure timely communication regarding position status.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the hiring process, including extending job offers, conducting background checks, and managing pre-employment requirements.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems, hiring bonus and generate recruitment reports as needed.
  • Represent the resort at job fairs, local hiring events, and community partnership initiatives.
  • Support seasonal hiring surges and collaborate on creative strategies to attract top hospitality talent.
  • Must be able to multi-task, able to prioritize in a very active and faced-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills are important to be effective in this role.
  • Supports the Recruiting Talent Manager & HR department workflow.
  • Follow & incorporate new hiring trends, technology, website hiring resources, and must show strong technical skills.
  • Attract applicants by attending job fairs, colleges career fairs, community organizations, high schools, and virtual job fairs. (Traveling is required)
  • Assist with planning & organizing internal job fairs.
  • Meets deadlines, track turnover, run reports, analyze data.
  • Incorporate recruiting techniques and best practices, ensuring these applicable policies are within federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist Team Member's events,
  • Promote our resort culture, service excellence, DEI engagement within our work environment, reflecting internally and externally of the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal hiring practices, and EEO guidelines.
  • Maintain opportunity list, share listing with internal and external guest (non-profit organizations)
  • Maintain position requisition binder ensuring each open position has a requisition.
  • Maintain the highest level of confidentiality on Team Member issues & guest relations.
  • Team player, maintain a good working relationship with all Departments
  • Flexible to work various shifts or days of the week
  • Complete Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation through E verify
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Accurately track the number of hires and open positions for each department accordingly.
  • Proactively prepare onboarding paperwork and checklists in advance of new hire start dates.
  • Actively update all spreadsheets related to new hires to ensure accuracy and alignment.
  • Proficient in creating name badges and name tags through the MS Shifts program.

Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience required in hospitality, opening experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, preferred Spanish.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Must have strong networking skills & social media knowledge.
  • Knowledge and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) UKG/HRIS preferred.
  • Must have an energetic, approachable, and enjoy social interactions
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience with all human resource functions, principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Proficient in Google Business, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software.
  • Self-starter that can work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must have a valid driver license with acceptable driving records.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to safely lift, pull and push up to 15 pounds.
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach periodically.
  • Able to sit and use the computer for hours at a time.
  • Subject to environmental conditions, work activities can occur inside and outside.
  • Visually look at a computer for extended periods.
  • Repetitive hand motions, such as typing.
  • Travel within state is required (20%)
