Job Overview

We’re seeking a skilled and results-oriented Paid Media Specialist to drive BetterGuards’ paid advertising efforts across multiple platforms. This role will focus on creating, managing, and optimizing campaigns on platforms like Meta, Google, Bing, Tiktok, X, and Reddit to boost brand awareness and fuel growth. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with several of these channels and a knack for turning data into high-performing ad strategies that resonate with athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns across multiple platforms, including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, Bing Ads, Tiktok, X, and Reddit, to meet KPIs like ROAS, CPA, and revenue.
  • Audience Targeting: Develop and refine audience segments to reach BetterGuards’ core customers—athletes, sports professionals, and fitness enthusiasts—across diverse markets.
  • Ad Creative Collaboration: Work with creative teams to develop compelling ad assets (e.g., images, videos, copy) tailored to each platform and audience. Partner with influencers and UGC creators to create ad ad content. 
  • Budget Optimization: Manage ad budgets effectively, allocating spend across platforms to maximize performance and efficiency.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign metrics (e.g., CTR, CPC, conversion rates) using platform analytics and tools like Google Analytics, providing regular reports and recommendations.
  • A/B Testing: Conduct experiments with ad formats, copy, and targeting to identify top-performing strategies and improve ROI.
  • Platform Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of at least three of the following—Meta, Google, Bing, Snapchat, X, Reddit—to drive innovative campaign approaches.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay current on paid media trends, platform updates, and emerging opportunities to keep BetterGuards’ advertising cutting-edge.
  • Cross-Team Support: Partner with ecommerce, SEO, and lifecycle teams to align paid media efforts with broader marketing goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in paid media, with hands-on expertise in at least three of the following platforms: Meta Ads, Google Ads, Bing Ads, Snapchat Ads, X Ads, Reddit Ads.
  • Proven success managing and optimizing campaigns with measurable results (e.g., increased sales, lead gen, or brand reach).
  • Proficiency with ad management tools (e.g., Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads Editor) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Experience recruiting influencers for user-generated content (UGC) campaigns.
  • Video editing skills or experience collaborating with video editors to create compelling ad content.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt strategies based on performance insights.
  • Experience in ecommerce or consumer goods is a plus; passion for sports or fitness is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
