Job Description
We are looking for full-time and part-time assistant teachers to float in all of our classrooms for Spring and Summer 2025. We would also love teachers to continue with us going into the 2025-2026 school year!
During the summer, we have six classrooms- infants through elementary age. The role of the assistant teacher would be covering breaks, assisting lead/main assistant teachers with lessons, projects, or other necessary items, supervising children at our school and/or on field trips, hands-on care and engagement with the children, and engaging healthily and communicatively with all staff, parents, and children. Other duties will likely include assisting with opening/lunch/closing procedures.
The current hours we are seeking are one 9:00am-6:00pm, one 11:30am-6:00pm shift and one 3:00pm-6:00pm shift. If you are seeking more/other hours, please still feel welcome to apply.
We are looking for highly professional, communicative, compassionate, and enthusiastic individuals who are interested in the field of education. Experience in childcare, education, and/or the Montessori method is preferred, but not required. However, a demonstrated interest in learning about and desire to work compassionately with children in the field is highly preferred if experience is not present, as we pride ourselves on the quality of our teachers and how they work with our students.
