Job Summary Responsible for collaborating with peers to contribute to existing and new software and web applications. Analyzes, tests and assists with the maintenance of existing application and development and integration of new applications. Responsible for participating in planning and designing new software and web applications. Edits new and existing applications. Implements, testing and debugging defined software components. Documents all development activity. Core Responsibilities Participates in the definition of application programming interface requirements and service integration touchpoint. Analyze requirements, design, modify, develop, write and implement software applications. Create new or add enhancements to existing systems/software designs to fulfill requirements. Perform developer-testing of code to ensure high quality levels. Partner with quality assurance to document integration and test plan. Fix defects (bugs) found in QA processes. Follows software development life cycle to implement new features. Prepare user and internal design documentation as needed. Troubleshoot problems found in deployed production use, as needed; recommends redesigns as appropriate. Participate in additional projects and activities to support business needs. Displays knowledge of and ability to apply, process design and redesign skills. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Entry-level or 1+ years of experience with Java/Spring Boot, and databases (SQL/NoSQL) is preferred but not required. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. This position is ineligible for visa sponsorship.
