Job Description

Assists in busy law office devoted exclusively to U.S. and Canadian immigration and citizenship law. Activities include preparation of immigration applications, extensive client contact, handling inquiries from new clients, follow up with pending cases, as well as general office and administrative work. Qualifications for this job include:

• Excellent communication skills by phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Attention to detail.
• Tolerant of highly varied cultures, languages, values, and lifestyles.
• Willing to perform all office work normally required in a smaller office, such as copying, filing, billing, answering the phone, and handling mail.
• Ability to be calm, confident and assertive when dealing with government agencies, clients, and other professionals.
• Versatile computer skills including email, Web, word processing, spreadsheets, Adobe Acrobat.
• Bachelor's degree or better.

Previous experience with U.S. or Canadian family or business immigration preferred, but will consider training a candidate with the qualities needed. Familiarity with Timeslips, Immigrant Professional, Asana and WordPerfect is a plus. Please mention any foreign language abilities. Our office is located in a beautiful, quiet building in a wooded suburban area of Cleveland, Ohio. We also have an affiliated office in Canada, making this a unique law practice.
