Job Summary Abby's team is growing, and we are seeking a dynamic Recruiting Specialist to attract, hire, and integrate top talent into our hospitality-focused environment. You'll manage the full-cycle hiring process for various roles, focusing on hourly and operations-based staffing. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates, building and maintaining talent pipelines, coordinating interviews, supporting and facilitating onboarding, and partnering with hiring managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and culinary, be bilingual (English/Spanish), and possess excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Key Responsibilities: - Source candidates via job boards, referrals, and direct outreach.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-turnover and hard-to-fill positions.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and skill requirements.
- Attend job fairs, community events, and campus recruiting events.
- Review applications, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews.
- Prepare and support hiring managers during interview stages.
- Provide timely follow-up and communication to candidates.
- Maintain a smooth and consistent candidate experience from application to offer.
- Write clear, engaging job ads aligned with company culture and job requirements.
- Post roles across multiple platforms (Indeed, internal boards, community networks).
- Keep postings updated and monitor performance and visibility.
- Represent the company positively in all external communications.
- Maintain applicant tracking system or spreadsheets with accurate candidate data.
- Report on time-to-fill, applicant sources, and open position status.
- Assist in hiring metrics and process improvements.
- Coordinate with HR on onboarding schedules, documentation, and orientation prep.
- Ensure smooth hand-off from recruitment to HR for first-day activities.
- Greet new hires and ensure readiness for their department onboarding experience.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, psychology, communications, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience.
- Proven experience in recruiting and onboarding, preferably within the hospitality or food and beverage industry.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a must.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work on-site and collaborate closely with team members.
- Proficient in using recruitment software and HRIS systems, specifically Paylocity.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
