As a Content Editor, you’ll refine and elevate content for four dynamic brands, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and consistency across both print and digital platforms. Collaborating with copywriters, technical writers, and fellow editors, you’ll maintain top-notch copy standards and keep each brand's voice strong. With your keen editing skills and attention to detail, you’ll help shape everything from manuals and app content to blogs, recipe books, ads, and website copy—always with the user experience in mind. What you will do at VeSync: Proofread, edit, review, and sometimes write various content according to brand voice and consumer usability. Rewrite or restructure content to improve readability and flow, while maintaining the intended meaning and tone. Stay updated on industry trends, style guides, and best practices in editing and publishing. Conduct final reviews of content before publication to identify and correct any errors. Ensure adherence to copyright laws and ethical guidelines in all published material. Exhibit strong editing skills for print, digital, microcopy, and technical copy. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail. Work closely with the marketing copywriter and technical copywriters. Collaborate with the entire creative marketing team to develop concepts and campaigns for our in-house brands. Work on various content: product listings, website copy, emails, blogs, video scripts, user manuals, print materials (e.g., recipe books), packaging, social media. Maintain attention to details in a fast-paced environment to ensure no grammatical errors are made, or consumer usability is compromised. Quality Control: Correct grammar, spelling, formatting to adhere to company style guide. Liaison with CHN content writer(s), US content team, and US project managers to ensure uniformity across all globally created assets. Monitor marketing phrases and verbiage for consistency on all platforms. Internal/Sensitive Communications: Review and polish internal or sensitive communication assets, such as press releases, CEO announcements. Occasionally provide internal translation support on assets. Work on other duties as assigned. What you bring to the role: Bachelor's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or other fields with experience in reading, writing, and editing. Must have 3+ experience in editing or copywriting role. Need strong writing and editing skills, as well as good communicative skills to provide constructive feedback to multiple teams, writers, and designers. Strong attention to detail. Must be able to work under flexible deadlines and fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using editing tools and style guides (e.g., AP Stylebook, Chicago Manual of Style). Location: This is an on-site, office-based role in Tustin, CA.
