We are a small company based in Georgia, looking to hire a Southeast Regional CDL A Driver for a 53ft flatbed. Equipment is a well maintained 2020 Freightliner with double sleeper. No teams so you will have ample space. Equipped with microwave and fridge. Also, equipped with PrePass Plus that allows up to 80% bypass at weigh stations for better drive-time.
Where:
97% of all loads are in the lower Southeast region and we never go north of VA (we despise the traffic, tolls and road conditions just as much as our drivers). May occasionally run a load in a lower Midwest state (KS, MO, IN).
Parking yard is currently located in Jackson, GA but can change to accommodate Driver for convenience.
Must haves:
1. CDL A license for at least 2 years
2. Clean drug history/Clearinghouse Query
3. No traffic violations, tickets or accidents within last 3 years
4. Solid understanding and respect for ELD Hours of Service
5. Knowledge and adherence of FMCSA/DOT rules and regulations
6. Honest, reliable, punctual and safe
Preferences:
1. Flatbed driving experience
2. Prior experience securing loads using chains and/or binders
3. Basic mechanical understanding
We understand that experience is gained when someone is willing to give you a chance so we are willing to train the right candidate to meet our preferences.
Compensation:
1. Starting pay is 22%-25% per booked load/ratecon with FULL transparency. All signed ratecons are added to a Google drive that is shared with Driver. W2 pay every Friday.
2. Level 1 inspection bonus (awarded for every level 1 inspection passed)
3. Safe driving bonus (awarded every 6 months accident/ticket free)
4. Annual loyalty bonus
5. Birthday bonus

Driver chooses run time (home every weekend or 1 full week off each month).
